America’s Garage is a one hour, weekly radio show that is all about cars.  Well, anything automotive, really.  Or just anything with a motor.  Heck, if it’s got wheels, we’re talkin’!

The show began in 2008 in Charlotte, North Carolina and launched into national and international syndication in 2011.

Join automotive “experts” and all-around gear heads, Chuck “Crank” Sperry and “The Car Chick” as they bring you car care and maintenance tips, car buying advice, industry news, car reviews and other automotive nonsense.

Meet the Hosts…

Chuck “Crank” Sperry

crankonbikeBorn in Chicago, Crank got his start in the automotive industry back in 1975 as the manager of an RV center.  He then served as a store and district manager for Goodyear before spending 20 years as an ASE Certified Service Writer for BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Toyota.  Crank now enjoys the quiet, retired life with his wife, Joanie.  They love making regular road trips across the country to visit their two sons and three grandkids.

Crank’s first car was a 1953 Buick Special, but he is also partial to BMWs, pickup trucks and British motorcycles.

LeeAnn Shattuck (“The Car Chick”)

“The Car Chick” hosted the motorsports show, “Cruise Control Xtreme”, and she guest stared in the Speed Channel’s reality show, “R U Faster Than a Redneck”, along side comedian Jon Reep, NASCAR legend Kenny Wallace, and Dukes of Hazard star John Schneider. She is currently producing and co-hosting a new reality show about restoring classic cars, called “Rust Rescue”.

LeeAnn’s first car was a 1977 Audi Fox that stalled when making left hand turns with less than a third of a tank of gas.  She much prefers her current Mini Cooper S, named “Maggie”.
